Divine Union
Often times the best part of collage is when things just work. There are dozens of individual photos and scraps that I drew over, and they all blended so well.
Divine Union is a concept that begins in ancient texts, yet finds itself amongst many different myths and religions. at its core is the concept that the soul has a 'masculine' and 'feminine' energies that must be wed and balanced. From this concept emerges a model of life very different from ours, but still familiar.
it is an idea that ripples through my art.
